Thanks for the welcome Clancie and for the extremely complimentary drawing of me. As my first contribution I thought I had better set the record straight with my sketch of me as a Simpsons character from the first couple of weeks of the FTI Animation course.

The blog is a great idea and a top way to keep us all doodling.

Ok I don't *do* anime really really....Not only cos I haven't made up my mind wether it appeals to me ...but also cos I'm a Spaz at it. However, I'm good at copying things in front of me (its how I draw when I don't want to have to think) This was a picture Lauren drew (cos shes clever) that was on the desk in front of me. Then I drew it with my own spin refrencing hers...mines the top one hers is the bottom one...

Its fitting that I happened to do a caricature of Damon on the same day he happened to become a member of Skribbel...lets pretend I did it in honor of it....actually ...no lets not ...otherwise everyone will expect one...Sides I'm not sure it looks like him.

Doodle on the phone

I was chatting on the telephone to Mark Hutchinson about Curriculum Design and simple game design and interactivity and storytelling in game design. The picture looks a little bit like Mark, and don;t jump to conclusions, the centipede... I was think about string of pearls stortelling and then turned that into a centipede, not that I associate Mark with a centipede.
